These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of E-Codex Play (the "Platform"), including its website, mobile application, the Game Zone, the ECP Scholarship Program, the ECP Community, wallet, messaging, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), operated for the Philippine market.
By creating an account, logging in, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Services.
The Platform includes a virtual wallet (ECP Points) with value expressed in Philippine Peso (PHP) terms, a loan system, in-platform games, and messaging/calling features. Using these features carries financial considerations. You are solely responsible for understanding the Platform's rules and these Terms before using the Services.

The Platform may require identity or age verification (including a selfie or photo-based verification step) before releasing winnings, processing a withdrawal, or approving a loan. Accounts that fail or refuse verification may be limited, suspended, or have pending transactions withheld.
One natural person may hold only one account. Operating multiple accounts ("multi-accounting"), including through shared devices or household members, is prohibited and may result in forfeiture of balances under Section 6.

You are solely responsible for all activity under your account, whether or not authorized by you, except where caused by a proven security failure of the Platform itself. Notify support immediately of any suspected unauthorized access, a lost or stolen device with biometric login enabled, or any other compromise.
The Platform may suspend an account or require re-verification at any time if it detects signs of compromise, unusual activity, or a security risk, without liability for any resulting delay.
"ECP Points" are the Platform's own internal, closed-loop unit of value. They exist and can only be used inside E-Codex Play, and are not issued, backed, or honored by any bank, exchange, or outside merchant. ECP Points are:
Because the ECP-to-peso rate can change, the peso value of your wallet balance today is not a promise of the same peso value tomorrow. You accept this fluctuation risk by holding and using ECP Points.
All wallet transactions (top-ups, winnings, purchases, loan disbursements and repayments, withdrawals) are logged. You are responsible for reviewing your transaction history and reporting any discrepancy within a reasonable time of it appearing in your wallet.
The Platform may hold, delay, or reverse a transaction while investigating suspected fraud, a payment dispute, a technical error, or a legal or regulatory requirement, including anti-money-laundering checks. Funds obtained through a proven exploit, bug, unauthorized access, or violation of these Terms may be reversed or forfeited.
The Platform is not a bank. Wallet balances are not insured by the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) or any similar scheme.
The Platform may offer eligible members short-term loans against configurable offers, disbursed from and repaid to the Platform's own treasury. Loan terms are subject to the following limits, which the Platform may adjust from time to time within these ranges:

Loan approval, rejection, and disbursement are at the sole discretion of the Platform's System Administrator. A loan may also be entered manually by an administrator for record-keeping purposes.
Late or missed repayment results in an automatic late-payment penalty as disclosed at the time the loan is taken. The Platform may offset an unpaid loan balance, interest, fees, and penalties against your wallet balance, including future winnings, until the loan is settled. Taking a loan with no intention to repay it, or to immediately withdraw and abandon the account, is treated as fraud under Section 6.
The following are strictly prohibited and may result in warning, forfeiture of balance, suspension, permanent ban, and referral to the appropriate authorities:
The Platform reserves the right to investigate any suspected violation, which may include reviewing account activity, transaction logs, and device identifiers, and to take any action it reasonably considers necessary, including withholding funds during the investigation.
The Platform offers a Tetris-style skill game with ECP Point rewards, and third-party game integrations (such as MineQuest PH) under an access whitelist. These are skill- and engagement-based features, not raffles, lotteries, or games of chance, and do not involve wagering. Outcomes are determined by the Platform's game logic at the time of play and are final once recorded, except where the Platform itself identifies a verifiable technical error.
ECP Scholarship Program. The Platform offers an ECP Scholarship Program that provides qualified student members with financial or in-kind assistance, subject to eligibility criteria (such as proof of enrollment or academic standing) set by the Platform. Applicants may be required to submit supporting documents for verification. The Platform may limit the number of slots or the amount of assistance available, and may deny, suspend, or recall an award if eligibility requirements are not met, if false or incomplete information was submitted, or if the award was obtained through fraud.
ECP Community. The Platform offers an ECP Community feature where members can read Platform announcements, news, and updates, and may be allowed to post or comment, subject to the conduct rules in Section 6. The Platform may moderate, hide, edit for compliance purposes, or remove any Community content at its discretion, including content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
Game availability, reward rates, whitelist access, and promotional mechanics may be changed, limited, or withdrawn at any time without prior notice, including for maintenance, abuse prevention, or regulatory reasons.
The Platform does not guarantee any particular outcome, reward rate, or return from using the games. Rewards earned reflect gameplay performance and are subject to the rates and limits in force at the time.
The Platform's messaging feature, including one-on-one voice and video calls, is provided for lawful, respectful communication between members. Calls are routed peer-to-peer where possible, with the Platform's own relay server used only to help the connection succeed; the Platform does not record or store the audio or video content of a call.
Call history (such as missed, completed, or declined status, and whether a call was voice or video) is logged and shown in the relevant chat for both participants, so each party can see that a call took place. You consent to this logging by using the calling feature.
You may not use messaging or calls to harass another member, share unlawful or obscene content, impersonate another person, or solicit payment or personal information outside the Platform's own wallet features. The Platform may suspend calling or messaging access, independently of your overall account, if it reasonably believes this Section has been violated.
All software, game assets, graphics, animations, trademarks, and content that make up the Services belong to the Platform's operator or its licensors. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for their intended purpose. You may not copy, decompile, reverse-engineer, scrape, or create derivative works from the Services, except as allowed by law.
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." The Platform does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities, and is not liable for losses caused by:
To the fullest extent permitted by Philippine law, the Platform's total liability to any member for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the member's verified wallet balance at the time the claim arose. The Platform is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost opportunity.
The Platform may suspend, limit, or permanently terminate your account, with or without prior notice, for: a violation of Section 6; a legal or regulatory requirement; suspected fraud or security risk; or prolonged inactivity, subject to applicable unclaimed-balance rules.
You may close your account at any time by contacting support. A verified wallet balance, net of any outstanding loan, fee, or amount under active investigation, will be made available for withdrawal in accordance with the Platform's standard payout process. Balances tied to an unresolved violation of Section 6 may be withheld pending investigation or forfeited if the violation is confirmed.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. The wallet and loan features are intended to operate within applicable Philippine regulatory frameworks, including Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) rules that may apply to e-money-like features, and the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) framework. The Platform does not offer raffles, lotteries, sweepstakes, or any game of chance involving a stake or prize draw, and is not operated as a gambling or gaming establishment.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will first be addressed through the Platform's support channel. If unresolved, the dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the proper courts of the Philippines, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection or alternative dispute resolution rights you may have under Philippine law.
The Platform may update these Terms from time to time, including to reflect new features, fee or rate changes, or regulatory requirements. Material changes will be announced through the Platform (such as the announcements feature or a notification). Continued use of the Services after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
